The most visible ensemble, the Wolfpack is an optional performance opportunity where students attend all but one varsity football game and several competitions throughout the fall.

Two of Newsome's audition-based concert bands, students are placed in the ensemble that best fits their abilities and the needs of the Band Program.

Comprised of Jazz Ensemble I and Jazz Ensemble II, this is an additional performance opportunity for students seeking to learn the nuanced art of jazz music.

Comprised of a drumline, cymbal line and front ensemble, this award-winning group competes locally with the Florida Federation of Colorguards Circuit and nationally with Winter Guard International.

Competing both with the Wolfpack Marching Band during the fall and on its own in the indoor season, the Newsome colorguard and winterguard are premier pageantry arts ensembles.
